What A Week

This has been quite a week for me. I own this awesome little 93 Ford Escort. It is paid off, gets about 33 miles to the gallon. Ugly as can be. My kids don't like my car. I do, IT IS PAID OFF. It runs real good too. This week while running my son around to get parts for his truck, a 17 year old girl, pulled off a side street right in front of me. I hit her. I tried not to, I steered the car to the right in an effort to avoid hitting her. Hmmmm didn't work. But the passenger side of my car isn't damadge as bad as the drivers side. But it is totaled. Not good for me. I'm told the insurance Company will probably only give me maybe $400. Not good for me. Where can I buy another car for $400??? One that doesn't leak oil, get awesome gas mileage and is small.
I was rather disapointed when I wasn't even asked what happened. The police only wanted my Liscence and my Insurance paper. No one even bothered to ask me what happened. There were alot of people who saw it and came running out to help. It was raining, and I literally got soaked to the bone. I called my other son to come get me and one of the officer wanted to know what wrecker I wanted to use. I told them my son was on his way he would know. I had another one of my boys with me, and another officer walked up and said "the boy in the ambulance said to call JR wrecker." I was then asked who the boy was to me. I replied "my son", and at that point the other officer said with a hateful tone " I thought you said your son was on his way here"! Okay my tone wasn't the greatest when I said "I HAVE 4 BOYS"! But HIS tone was hatefull too!! But you know when you think about it, don't we all sometimes react with the same attitude that is spoken to us???? Don't go acting like your perfect and I am the only one who does this!! The Bible says "A soft answere turneth away wrath, but harsh words stir up anger". Yep it is true. The officer got mad at me because I spoke to him in the same tone he spoke to me, GO FIGURE!!!! He told me, there was no sense in me being hateful!!!! I just turned around and walked away! I refused the Ambulance, but later that night my neck began hurting. I did go into the hospital to have it checked. They asked me more questions than the police did at the wreck!!!! I am fine, my neck is fine. They said I would be sore for a few days! The next day I was so sore I could barley move. But I am fine now. Took some Ibroprophine and soreness went away. Biggest problem I got now is getting another car. I am drawing unemployment as it is, and being a single mom doesn't help much. So I need a good car for $400! I am sure that, that in itself will produce a blog of it own! My sister is praying for me. She wants God to tell her why I am having so many problems. Don't get me wrong, I love GOD. HE is the most important figure in my life. But Why would God Tell my sister what was wrong and not tell me??? Bad things happen to Christians too. I just thank GOD that my kids are all still alive, and I don't have leporsy. (Job) For that matter, I thank God that I wasn't swallowed by a whale. Think about it, Jonah messed up and didn't do what God wanted him to. Well, God did tell me before this happened something he wanted me to do. Okay, I admit I didn't want to do it! I made a deal with God. I did like Gideon did. Only I didn't lay cloth out to see if dew was on it the next morning. I had a different situation, and to my dismay, he did it. I said ok, we will do this a second time, maybe it was a coincidense. Hmmm 2nd time, SAME thing! Okay God, the third time it will be something I know is possible but unlikely, well......what do you know......it happened!!! Okay now, I really don't want to do this, so here we are asking a 4th time!! Hello????? Can you tell I really don't want to give this up??? The 4th deal, is impossible! BUT...Jesus said nothing is impossible with God! Okay, so then, he hasn't answered the 4th deal yet. So maybe it was all coincidense! Who am I foolin????? God would not allow this wreck to happen leaving me afoot. I live 1000 miles on a dirt road (exaggeration added). I have no way to town, or to church for that matter, and for that matter NO MONEY!!! My boys won't let me drive thier cars cause I might wreck them. Hmmmmm SHE pulled out in front of ME!! I went to the Police Department to get the police report and I was told it would not be ready till next week. So does it take them a week to sit down and write out what happened, especially when they never asked me what happened???? I am anxious to read this report!
So according to the Blog classes I took, I am supposed to be teaching you something you didn't know. So now you should know these important things.
#1. Don't drive down Mainstreet as soon as school is out to avoid hitting any 17 year olds.
#2. Don't get hatefull to police even if they are hateful to you.
#3. Ask God what the problem is BEFORE your sister does.
#4. Don't live in country so far out you can't walk to town.
#5. Don't ask GOD for answeres unless your ready to obey.
#6. Don't allow your kids to drive till they sign and notorize a paper saying they will help you when you need to borrow THEIR car.
